Gaston, originally from a small town in the east of Malaysia (Sabah – Borneo) then moved to Melbourne in 2017. He was approached to join the band late 2019 and officially joined the band in early 2020 in conjunction to their new album release Dead Elysium.

His musical influence rooted in the complex and evocative world of Progressive Metal though he enjoys Synthwave music and draws inspiration from the intricate sounds of Dream Theater, Korn, Lamb of God, Slipknot, X-Japan, The Hu, Alestorm, Tyr, and Galneryus.

He uses Ibanez Basses and D’darrio Strings exclusively.
